OT: On-line Repair guide for our non-Saab vehicles Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Thu, 3 Mar 2016 09:13:11 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I used to have accees to GM's corporate subscription of Mitchell's OnDemand5 vehicle repair guide. I found this useful for D-I-Y repair questions (and wrenching) on my kid's assortment of vehicles. I saw that Mitchell is updating their product and giving it a new name so I contacted them thinking they might offer cheap rates for the old software to D-I-Yers.
They don't but they do have a D-I-Y car repair tool that is avaible for access via subscription. Although a single use subscription seems pricey for the time limit, a home mechanic can buy a 4 year subscription for just under $40. Note this price is PER VEHICLE.
So if you have an old Suburban or collectable Alfa for which you need service information, and you plan on keeping the vehicle for a while, the price is very reasonable.
