Bigger screen and internet updateability are two big pluses. The bigger screen will provide an actual description of the problem in addition to the code number. Autel has been around for a while and isn't too likely to disappear.
I bought an Auto-Xray device to use on my 2000. Works great but...... they got bought out by SPX, an industrial conglomerate, back in 2004. New management streamlined the product offerings and my Auto-Xray device, the Code Scout 1500, ceased to exist. It is no longer supported even for internet updates.
