Some cars (BMW comes to mind) specify LV brake fluid, and I think it's combination of ABS design as well as temperature tolerance, with the scale tipping a little more towards design than temperature. A lot of newer ABS controllers have *very* fine passages, and LV fluid is specified to help avoid vapor lock with those tiny volumes.
