I've used SEAFOAM for years:
gas.
I have a separate small funnel that I have a piece of vac hose attached to, and I attach it to a vac line on the manifold for the c900 or my VW Passat 1.8T. I pour in about 1/3 of the bottle while the engine is running, and turn the car off after about 10 seconds.
I let it sit for about 5 minutes, and start it up again. It blows tons of cloudy exhaust, but it cleans the intake and valves well.
Before an oil change, I pour the other 2/3 of a bottle into the oil fill tube, run it for about 20 minutes (a dash to the store for whatever), and then drain the oil. it dissolves a lot of gunk.
It is a product sworn by on the Passat forums, and SAAB turbos are the same sized engine with similar turbo vac lines.
I have not found a good way to pour it into the 2002 9-3's manifold, but have added it to gas or oil as mentioned before.
