I'm glad you like it also. What I think happened was the release valve to lower the jack froze and dopey me twisted a little too hard on the knob. I sheared the pin at the bottom where the rod connects to the hydraulic piston, where the handle is hinged. Would you take a look at yours and tell me if the pin that connects the twist rod to the piston is actually a pin, or is it screw? I took a hammer and a punch to what was left in the end of the rod but I couldn't get it to budge. I was in the garage just now thinking maybe if I could remove the whole hydraulic unit I could find one to fit. But it looks like quite a job just to get to the unit. Maybe some penetrating oil in the right spot could loosen it, but I am not optimistic. Maybe you could look at it and trow a drop of oil in the right spot and avoid what happened to mine. Thanks.
