Haha, that would be nice, though I'm sure most Saab shops would be happy to do something like that if you brought the car and the $$$. I guess the challenge if one doesn't have a southern body available is to be able to do any body work as well as the normal mechanical stuff. Jon on the c900 BB would be a good example with his complete strip and rotisserie capabilities:

But realistically, not many will pay for that. Just keeping them decently maintained is probably good enough as a daily driver rather than a show car. Our 9-5s get used so they are not pristine. Eg I just took our old hot water tank to the recyclers in the back of our wagon.
Most in Canada are now pretty used up if nothing else due to all the road salt. I did see a 2003 aero wagon listed east of Toronto last spring for less than $5k and only 130k km. But most people still driving Saabs are die hards at this point and only selling if the mileage is high and the problems are becoming substantial...
I have some interest (with mixed feelings) wrt electrifying a na c900 we have that probably needs an engine pull anyway. Either that or it will get an lpt, but either is a big project (especially considering it is now just a summer car). Restoration work is great, but it doesn't solve the problems of parts availability off the beaten track, recognizing that things break even on brand new cars.
