9-5 SVC on Speedvision

There were a lot of nice cars on Speedvision this past weekend.
First, the Rolex/Daytona 24 hour event - a happy day for Corvette
and racing fans, in general. Then a short review of the 9-5 with
the variable compression engine. They even showed an end
(crank) view of the hinge opening and closing. I really think that
if this idea gets integrated with the Orbital design, Saab will surely
have a promising future. There's fierce competition, that's for
sure: the Porsce Carrera GT looks like a killer, even Pontiac had
a nice looking Grand Prix V8 AWD w/big brakes/wheels/tires.
Still have to marvel at those Swedes getting 225 hp out of 1.5
liters and less fuel!
