The 9000T has 204K miles, & the following things don't work: There is no 4th gear. Only one electric window works reliably. AC motor needs replacing. Interior is shot. Windshield & rubber (around glass) need replacing. I don't know how long the turbo charger will hold out. The last time I drove it six months ago the cable to open the hood broke so I can't even get it open with needle-nosed pliers. Then the battery went dead because I let it sit, & now it has two flat tires & I'm just waiting to get a ticket from the city! It ran very well before this. I bought it for $1,000 & really got my money's worth before it died. This may well be a good car for someone mechanically inclined; I just need to get around to selling (or donating) it & starting fresh!
Saabs fit my needs; I love hatchbacks, they're great in snow & I like the solid way they drive & handle. But since I'm not a mechanic, I don't want to be one of those with horror stories about being nickle & dimed to death...I could get a GM car if that's what I wanted :).
