Actually 3 phase AC motors used in electric vehicles have 100% torque until
peak power (usually around 3600 rpm). Then you have 100% power until max rpm. A lower hp electric motor will actually perform overall better than
a peaky IC engine.
electric vehicles are a blast....especially with sooo much torque
