I would also add Stevie Rae Vaughn (Vaughn Bros), Allman Bros., and BB King. Also, some of the Rolling Stones jazz albums would carry me down the road quite nicely' "Sticky Fingers" comes to mind.

Surprisingly for some maybe, Willie Nelson has some great stuff for driving.

I remember playing Boston's first album a lot when I drove to ski.

Elton John maybe.....The Clash...The Beatles for a good sing-along. The Pretenders....

Fascinating lyrics from Alan Price on the rare movie album, "O Lucky Man",
which took me across Canada once.

Oh heck, my tastes are eclectic. I even have a place for ABBA and The Moody Blues and Procol Harem. Being a Canadian of a certain age, Lighthouse esp the "Live" album and The Guess Who ring my chimes.

And then if you really want to get wound out, try Jerry Lee Lewis. To wind down again, but not too low, get out some Buddy Holly.

Lately, I like Buena Vista Social Club out of Cuba.
