I have not used JR myself; he was recommended by a friend who used to live in Edgewater and took his 9000 there at the time.
I'm not sure what Ian means by "pricey" especially since he apparently has no personal experience having work done at either place.
The hourly labor rates at Swedish Connection are comparable with other independent Saab mechanics that I have used in the past.
As far as parts are concerned I generally get mine from various discount suppliers and have Swedish do the installation for me; except for stuff that can only be had from Saab which is always overpriced but the mechanic cannot be blamed for that. If you have Swedish get the parts for you they will be more expensive.
They are know what they are doing and are reliable; I continue to take my Saab there for service and repairs.
