Paintwork question

Recently, my car (midnight blue '97 9000 CS) must have been parked near a building that was being spray painted (I suspect it happened while I was at work, the painters came and left before I returned...). Anyhow, I now have tiny dots of brown paint all over the blue. It's not terrible, but it's definitely noticeable when you look at the car close up. I've tried researching various websites that have information regarding detailing products, but so far I've seen nothing useful. Does anybody have any ideas? Should I file an insurance claim for a total respray? The affected area includes the hood, both front wings and both front doors.
