It may seem an odd pairing from a "nationality" point of view (Swedish/Korean), but it's not that unusual for a higher-priced car to pair with a lower-priced car for the sake of the dealer being able to cover a wider price range and thus pull in more customers. Back in the 1950s and 1960s, there were lots of Volvo/Saab dealers, when SAABs cost little more than a VW bug but Volvos were in the "mid-price" range. The reason most of these dealers dropped either Volvo or SAAB was that as SAAB moved up-market, they began to compete directly with Volvo, and that offered no particular advantage to the dealer in terms of market coverage. In the late '60s and early '70s, there were a number of SAAB/Subaru dealers, which also gave a dealer a broader market coverage.
The problem with dual-brand dealerships can come when there aren't enough SAAB-trained mechanics in the service department. We used to have a local Oldsmobile/SAAB dealer that had one SAAB mechanic in their service dept. The rest were all trained to service US GM cars. It was well known that you didn't take your SAAB to that dealer for service, because the GM-trained mechanics didn't have the slightest idea of what they were doing when they worked on SAABs.
