Can't stand them. I'd never buy a car with Xenon unless they change something. I think the real problem is the color. What makes them (and especially the fake versions that the highschool kids put in their cars) look brighter or "cooler" is the blue tint. It's pretty well known that the color blue is terrible in terms of glare. Blue also appears to be brighter for much the same reasons. We'd really all be better off if everyone stuck to standard yellow-white bulbs and just got some better engineered reflectors. Why is it that the DOT in many states makes it illegal to use the superior (to sealed beam) European-spec standard headlights which improve light distribution and safety but tolerate glare-producing HID?
