My wife's SPG - Debadged from factory Posted by Randy Thatcher [Email] (#22) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Randy Thatcher) on Mon, 26 Nov 2001 23:46:48 In Reply to: Can anyone post pics of a de-badged Saab? n/m, Adrian, Sun, 25 Nov 2001 19:40:51 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
This is the standard look for the SPG. It only has SAAB and the roundel. It does not have anything on the side of the hood, either. This car now has a turbo exhaust and touched up bumper, so it looks a bit better than the picture.
I've seen a debadged 9-3, it only had the roundel. I forget if this was in the US or Europe. A lot of cars in Europe seem to be debadged. Is it for a clean look? To hide how powerful it is - stealth mode? or to hide the fact you bought the cheap model?
If you want to remove the badging, go to the C900 board and do some searching. I know Pat Price has totally debadged a 198? C900 Turbo Convertible.
