Ha! This brings back some memories. In the '60s and '70s, SAAB had the unfortunate habit of introducing a new product, or the next model year's car, in the media long before the cars were available at the dealerships. Talk about counterproductive! People would read or hear about the new model in the media blitz, go to the dealership to see it, and not only didn't the dealership not have it, sometimes they couldn't even tell the potential customer when they would have it available to see and drive. By the time the dealer actually got the car, the media blitz was long over, and potentially interested customers would have lost interest and moved on. The dealers used to hate this, and rightly so.
I guess SAAB learned its lesson on this, since there has been little or no info from SAAB on the new 9-3, even though its introduction is only 8 or 9 months away.
