Locate the OnStar box in the back of the car. In the Wagon it is located just inside the right rear quarter panel under the little lift-up access panel (under the cargo floor). Remove the box and disconnect the wire connector. Throw the box in the trash. This will completely shut down the system - the box is the radio and gps receiver.
I have NO idea what sort of alarm bells this will set of at OnStar headquarters. It should be interesting to see if they send an ambulance, the cops and the National Guard to rescue you. Also, I don't know what warning lights or error codes your car will generate.
Go ahead and do this, and tell us what happens;)
