Pierre sent me a packet with the details. I've never been to flight academy, but I doubt it is the same. This is just a one day course. It seems like they're focussing on quick lane changes and emergency stops. I'm dragging my wife along too. The real bonus is that we're using Saabs instead of Sunfires or Neons.

We have a very limited number of spots remaining for our Stevens Advanced
Driver Training class on Sunday, April 7, 2002. You may have read about
Stevens in the Boston Globe. They are renowned for their work with young
drivers, but they handle serious professional drivers as well. The
Massachusetts State Police and Canadian Royal Mounted Police are among their
clients. The offer to our customers is extra special. First, we give you the
opportunity to take the class in one of our SAABs instead of using a Stevens
fleet car. Second, we offer you the class at $225 instead of the normal
$350. Finally, to maximixe the enjoyment on that day, we provide a gourmet
box lunch. There are only a few spots remaining.
