After running a fun and successful Share Your Saab Knowledge contest on the TSN mailing lists in April, I'm excited to announce the same contest for the TSN Bulletin Boards. It was announced on the mailing list as a June contest, but I've already extended its length to the end of August.

To participate, simply share your Saab knowledge on the bulletin boards (answer a question, post a useful tip or fix, etc). The only requirement is that you leave either your email address (so I can notify you) or your City, State (Country) [must match your mailing address]. If you don't leave an email address, you'll need to check your old postings to see if you've won. You'll have four weeks to claim your prize before it goes back into the prize pool. There'll be at least two prizes awarded every week.

Prizes will be $10-$25 gift certifcates to Starbucks, Amazon, Home Depot, and to many of the TSN Site Sponsors such as Sobstory, Trollhattan, eEuroparts, Saab Depot, The Saab Site, and many others (see link below for a list of the TSN Site Sponsors that are making this contest possible) - even some Saabs will be given away (pictured below).

Site Notes:

I've been having some difficulty with one of my ad brokers lately (Doubleclick) showing pop up ads even though they promised not to do so here. Hopefully, I've resolved this issue, but please rest assured that I dislike pop up ads as much as anyone else. Without the TSN Site Sponsors, there would be a great chance that your TSN experience would be dotted with these types of ads. Many sites that operate on the shareware/donation model can't raise enough money to cover basic site costs and are forced to take any kind of advertising they can get just to remain on the Internet, so if there's a site you really enjoy and would miss if it went away, make sure to support it with your financial backing as well as your viewership! This is all just to say (in as many words as possible ;-)) that TSN owes a great part of it's existence to the mutually beneficial relationship between the Site Sponsors (like Midcoast Internet Solutions) and the Saab consumers that support their businesses and visit TSN!
