I swear, the only comparison I've ever seen BMW defeated in is the AWD wagons...it lost to the A4 Avant. Everything else, the BMW always takes the crown. It's much more interesting to read the rest of the comparison because it's always a race for 7th-2nd place with BMW being guaranteed a first place finish every time. That's ridiculous. I read a comparison between the A4 3.0 and the BMW 330i and the only points they complained about in the A4 was that it was heavier - it's got AWD for crying out loud. Put the 330i in the snow, and its RWD won't go anywhere. Also, Audis offer more bang for the buck than BMW (I just bought an A4...can you tell?) and they don't seem to ever take that into consideration. A couple of examples - 6 disc changer, fold down rear seats, quattro(AWD), etc. all standard in Audi...all options for BMW. Anyway, my problem is just that they seem to be paid off by the Bimmer people to always give them good reviews. They don't seem to point out that they haven't really innovated along the lines of design for either interior/exterior/engine/mechanics. Meanwhile just about every other brand out there makes some sort of improvement to their cars on a semi-annual basis. My $.02
