Is that what you want SAAB to be?
Let's look at your VOLVO comments. As an ex-Volvo driver (the wife still drives themm though), I have been round the block with those cars, and back again. But have you sat in that sports coupe of Volvo? The C70? I wouldn't mind having one in my front room, because the stereo is THE best in any car I know of. But if you want to talk about handling and steering wheel vibration, look no further than the C70 for a prime culprit.
I read that their SUV has been slain by some for having missed the plot.
SO if you ask me what SAAB should be doing, my answer would be plain and simple: don't thin the waters as Mercedes is doing. Volvo is making a big mistake. The mass market wants everything fitted, but at Japanese car prices. SAAB might not be as cheap as the japanese, but you get a heck lot of bang for your bucks!
