for a long time as to exactly when this car will arrive. The V70 version was mentioned in the IPD newsletter, maybe a year ago. I really wonder what this car will be like. Since it has a true active suspension, I wonder what the real world impact of that will be. The ultimate limit of an actively suspended car is going to be higher, but often these system lose the "road feel" that we enthusiasts crave. This is something French and Italian manufacturers seem to do better at designing into their cars than anyone else. If the V70 does "feel" like a sportscar, then it will be one of the coolest cars on the road. It will also be interesting to see what the reality of the three mode suspension will be. In the past (particularly, in Japanese cars in the 1980's), these systems gave you a choice of bad ride, bad handling, or both... (Sport, Comfort, Normal...) How many of our British friends remember the Godawful Nissan Bluebird SXE? For those of us who like to tune our cars, such a system will pose a whole new world of challenges. Of course, people thought that the arrival of ECU's would end tuning forever too, and instead just opened the door to some of the easiest, most cost-efficient tuning ever.
