Way OT: From Engineering to Teaching

Ok, so this is defnitely WAY off topic, but there are so many helpful people on this board that I thought I would give this a shot...
The past 3.5 years of my mechanical engineering education and 2 co-ops at a huge engineering corporation have made me decide that engineering is not for me. It's not that I'm not able to do it, my grades are excellent and my supervisors were constantly impressed with the work I did. My professors at college have been so horrible and the office that I worked in can be perfectly desribed as "zombie-land." I don't want to spend my life doing this...
I have had a lot of experience teaching/tutoring, and I love it. I want a job where I can make a difference, especially considering how few really good teachers I've had the privilege learning from.
How would I be able to do this? In May 2003, I'll have a BS in Mech Engr and a BS in Psychology. I want to get into high school level math/science. Has anyone done this? Any ideas?
Thanks, as always!
-Keith
p.s. I mean no offense AT ALL to any engineers or teachers out there. My experiences with engineers and poor teachers are just that: my experiences. I know there are many amazing, infuential engineers in the industry, unfortunately, none of them impacted my life as those few amazing teachers have.
