with a power washer. It's just body shop dust. As far as the paint chipping, I would take the car back. Something in the paint mixture didn't meld properly or wasn't cured properly. It's better to nip this in the bud now, than try to get the shop to stand behind it a year from now. Does the shop have a paint booth that has baking capabilities? It seems anymore, that to get a good solid clean paint, the car needs to be baked after painting. Paint (Metallic paint in particular) can look horrible if the temperature while drying is too cold. The clear coat will not sit correctly, and the car will look, almost as if has sanding marks beneath the paint. Good Luck.
