Team McLube's SailKote is a dry lubricant whose carrying agent is not petroleum based and thus does not attract dust when "dry". It will even repel moisture to keep items dry. It has swept the sailboat racing scene and is truely a SUPERIOR product. Check link below for more details.
I've also found an anti-corrosive/penetrant called CorrosionX. As a penetrant it's fabulous and makes WD-40 (NOT a penetrant at all) and Liquid Wrench look like pikers! Got rust? No problemo for CorrosionX. Spray on, let it do it's magic for oh, say 15 minutes, and presto... parts can be separated easily. It's great on electrical connections that are exposed to corrosive atmospheres (I use it on battery terminals, wire splices, and connections on an offshore raceboat), and is a pretty fine lubricant in its own right.
If you're willing to try something new give these products a shot.
