There are quite a few attorneys who message on this board..so I need some opinions! This is not a challenge, merely a question.
When a new law school graduate starts out..he may land an entry-level job at a DA's office. He then learns that EVERY suspect brought in is Guilty...his job is to prove, persuade, and put this sucker in jail or under the jail..get the death penalty if possible. After two or three years, with a little experience under their belt...they switch to private practice. Now the job entails proving every suspected murderer, rapist or thief innocent...had a bad childhood, belonged to the Boy Scouts. He is not only innocent, but we as a community should feel honored to have him as a resident.
Now I know in reality it would not happen, but in theory what would happen if this were the same oerson?
How could the attorney work "both sdes of the street" and sleep well at night! I really have a hard time buying the "everyone deserves a defense" statement.
I know lawyers are necessary..but hopefully Real Estate attorneys are my only choice to deal with.
Thank you
