I was reading in a magazine (CAR maybe, I don't honestly remember) that Saab has available in Europe a navigation system in the 9-3 that is GPS based and will route you based on the level of traffic. It calculates the fastest way to get somewhere and then checks the traffic levels and will pick the best ultimate route. I wish I could remember where I read this. It was some article on the most advanced automotive technology that's on the market. Lexus currently offers the best one in the US, and I've used it, it's very nice to have ('02 GS 300).
Why doesn't Saab bring this excellent technology to the US? They don't even offer a nav system here. They are one of the few that continues to lag behind when it comes to this kind of technology and then I find out that indeed they HAVE it, just not here in the states. With ALL the other premium car makes offering systems, why isn't Saab? Especially when there system blows the others away.
Just something to ponder. Have a nice day.
