Richard, once again, I appreciate your input. I have not had an opportunity to drive or ride in any of the 2003 models, but have heard a significant amount of praise from those who have been so fortunate. I agree that exterior appearance is not everything, but it has certainly played a key role in the development of certain Saab traits and characteristics over the years. I know sales have been going up at a steady rate, but even that is not always a good thing. Saabs are loved (by most true Saab enthusiasts, anyway) because they are different, anti-mainstream, and dare I say...quirky. The increase in sales and expanded product line just has a few worried about the rich history of such an oustanding make. Many are concerned that over time, the once "different" car that they drove will now be diluted with mainstream ideals. That's strictly an opinion and partially pessimistic thinking, but nonetheless, it's thinking. Saabers do seem to be a little conservative when talk of change comes about, and that's something that is understandably frustrating from certain perspectives, but it may be a bit more legitimate than what is given credit. Thanks again. Drive safely, and KEEP ON SAABING!!!
