Paint Swirl - Dealer detail Posted by ken [Email] (#2113) [Profile/Gallery] (more from ken) on Tue, 22 Apr 2003 08:04:41 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a new Saab that has never been detailed/waxed except at the dealer at delivery, during the first service (30 day), at a break-in oil change that cost me $$$. I occasionally spray it off when necessary using high pressure water but no brushes or sponges. I recently noticed the paint has swirl marks. I have a couple questions.
1. Should the dealer fix this under warranty?
2. How can it be fixed? Will it need new paint or can some of the readily available polishes/waxes hide the marks?
3. Anybody else delt with a dealer for a similar situation?
It is dark blue. Thanks in advance for any advice.
