I don't know - my '97 9000 made it to over 300,000 miles before the transmission went bad. Replaced it with a $175 used one from a junkyard. The car now has over 350,000 miles, runs great, and the engine has never been apart. This in a 23-year-old car purchased for $1500 nearly nine years ago. I can drive it anywhere and can fill up in a few minutes without having to plan for charging stations, with no waiting in line and and no waiting for "fast" charging.
Electric cars are overpriced and not ready for prime time in my estimation except in limited circumstances. So thanks but no thanks. Even if I were to purchase a new vehicle I would not consider a Tesla or other electric.
