a REAL Cobra is the original 2 seat sports car (originally an AC Ace) with a Ford 289 or 427, built by Carroll Shelby in the mid-60s. They are now worth a fortune.
But you can get a replica "kit" from an outfit called Factory Five Racing that uses Mustang driveline and many other bits. And they are awesome cars--basically a 65 Cobra with modern driveline and electronics. A couple guys in my town have built them and I saw another this weekend with a 418-inch motor putting out 547 HP. In a 2000 pound car. These are not really "kits." More like you get the parts and hang them on a highly engineered frame that's a replica of the original. The things have their own racing series and a large following. Company is turning out 15 "kits" a week to meet demand.
But to your question...plates on Cobras here are VENOM, HSSSS, VENMOUS
