Personally my favorite Benz's of all time. A nice w210 chassis. Mechanically very reliable, and with a 98 you should be getting the v-6 engine. The only real problem with the v-6 is the harmonic balancer pulley has a tendency to seperate and take out the timing case and its a lot of money to fix it.However if you change the pulley as soon as it starts splitting it will be ok.
The other thing is that the taillights have an annoying habit of burning out the contacts on the assembly itself so you might have to change them. But thats a quick fix.
Just these two minor problems, but overall great cars.
