Well, you have to get a new mechanic first of all.
If as Mike says, the doors are "tinny" sounding, that's a big turn off for me especially if it is a Cadillac and not a Daihatsu.
That's one thing I don't care with the 9-3 Sport Sedan and the very first one I saw, I thought they had had some body work done and that the body shop had forgotten to install the sound proofing in the new door.
Now I know that all of them are that way, together with the Volvo 40 model.
I wonder if they got the Northstar engine straightened out. It was lots of trouble with oil leaks in the 90s and early 2000.
