Its too early for me to give much detailed info for you.
So far, I've already had to go to the dealer to have a slight shimmy at highway speeds fixed -- and they didn't fix it the first time because it's still there. They also gave me a runaround on the key fob (R's get a psecial metallic look insert on the fob that I didn't get when delivered) -- at least until my sales guy bumped into me arguing with the service rep about the inserts. he had them within 1 minute. How dealers handle the "little things" is usually an indication of how they will handle the "big things" -- the service rep was trying to schedule me for an appointment 3 weeks later t get metallic key fob inserts put in!
Volvo sales is usually a painless experience, but I hear Volvo service can be hit-and-miss. I used Don Beyer Volvo in Falls Church VA -- very nice "can do" sales guys. NOt a great start for service, but we'll see -- I didn't exactly have great service experience with my Saab dealer either.
