Total cost was $2,700. I've had more expensive stuff in my 9000 so no complaints.
They found a bunch of stuff. Tranny was "dangerously" low on fluid. I'm afraid that its damged but they didn't say anything about it...What do you think? (Feels good now though).
It needed a new air mass meter, and that helped all the engine/acceleration/misfiring problems. The power feels much much better now. That musta been what the CEL was for, but obviously the "indy" couldn't get the code.
They changed the blower motor and that solved the climate control issues.
Front tires were out of balance so they balanced them at no charge.
An ABS sensor was bad, so that got rid of the ABS/ETS lights.
I know I'm forgetting some things, and overall it was a great experience. And the car is a blast to drive again. They even washed and vacuumed the car too! The car will never again see that indy, which is too bad because he used to do excellent work. But the whole dealer experience was great! Too bad Saab dealerships (most) aren't as good as Benz dealerships.
