I just did a search on the NADA site and mine ('11 Sport 4 door hardtop w/23K miles) has a clean retail of $30K. That's what the window sticker was new. My son just bought a new '14 for pretty much that amount (he had a couple extra options). If you can find a used one with 30k or 40k for a reasonable price (that hasn't had the crap run out of it) by all means do so. They seem to be totally bullet proof--even the guys with the big tires who go "wheeling" every weekend don't seem to have anything go wrong. I guess I can sort of see why the older ones bring what they do, but I'd be more inclined to pay the little bit extra for a new one.
