Unlike Saab, you don't have to go very far to find another Porsche lover. Porsche Club is the largest car club and very, very active.
Not all the pricks are on the inside (from the Porsche joke file), very, very nice folks in general, lots of normal folks with entry level cars, 914's, 924's, 944's, 968's, and older 356's, 928's and 911's, and lot's of high-line folks too.
I can still feel both ends of a 924 (994 & 968) working hard. The high polar moment of inertia, engine at one end tranny at the other gives the car a unique feel, you can really feel the seperate ends of the car working, particularly as regards to 914's and 911's.
