it needs to be as close to TB as possible and the springs needs to be kind of tight. The only problem I have with my XS BOV is if I come off of full WOT and push clutch in the car will die when rpm bottoms out. But I am running 30# FI's 2.5 bar and amm resistor mod, not to mention no de-accelration dash pot. With that being said it bothers me very little because the way I drive on the streets is the way I drive on track a lot of down shifting with blipping the throttle to keep rpms up for coming out of corners and such...oh the BOV sound will literally scares the dickens out of people when you shift next to them...if you are into that type of thing. :P
