go to msefi.com and read the forum on MSnS Extra - it has tons of information on getting a tach signal for Megasquirt, but it's all applicable. i believe both the distributor-mounted and oilpump-mounted hall sensors have two shutter slots only. the di/apc wheel has three slots.
