Look at the valve body, you will see a letter stamped by each hose. "C" for "charge air", "W" for "wastegate", and "R" for "return".
"C" gets air from the turbo compressor, "W" goes to the wategate valve, and "R" vents back into the intake under the bellows before the turbo.
