Well, the reason behind this post is to inform the whole SAAB community about Jak Stoll performance. My visit to Jak Stoll all started with a late night call to him asking if I could come down the following day. I’m very good at last minute operations. Jak the nice guy he is cleared his schedule 4 me to get my Viggen “pissed” as he would say. I started the 6 hr journey from my house in Williamsburg V A to his house in black mtn. NC. The trip there took me 7 hrs ha ha. The map quest directions I printed seemed to lead not towards Jak house but towards well I don’t even know. I was deff lost 1/2 the way there and stopped at a local gas station were a real huge helpful lady got me back on the way. I arrived there around 7:30am. It was now 7:30 am and I called Jak (828-775-3719) he came and met me at the local food lion. He pulled up in his amazing sounding ng900. (btw: his turbo sounds like a f*cking semi truck spooling up!!! AMAZING) We went to the local café and got some coffee. I was defiantly in need of that after being awake 4 about 24 hrs! That day we checked over my car and made sure everything was a OK 4 tuning. The next few days consisted of waiting 4 the parts and skateboarding! I was kind of scared going to a different state hanging with people I don’t know and yea I'm still a teenager!! Jak and his family made my stay feel as if I was family. To tell the truth I was happier staying there then going to a local hotel. But anyways we went skateboarding ( his son’s are going to be pro one day!!)and ate some supper good vegetarian food.
When the parts arrived I played dj with my CD’s in the shops CD player, and watched Jak work his magic. I helped out when I could but I'm not a mechanic. We had the springs front rotors , pads, cobra pipe , exhaust and had it tuned in about 16hrs. Jak’s methods 4 tuning were quite confusing. I did not understand what we were looking at ?All those colored maps and things that look like a heart beat??!?! He let me sit right next to him and ask random questions about those maps. He very nicely and thoroughly ex-planed about everyone I asked . After everything was installed we took the jet out 4 a ride jet I mean viggen. The car was like night and day!!!!! The Viggen was pushing 15-19psi otta the turns on this cool lil back road. The Viggen was burning the tires on full throttle in 2nd gear. The Viggen would smash past 60, 70, 80 , 90 ,100,110 like it was a f>cking Ferrari. When you slam the gas the exhaust bellows a loud but sophisticated sweet sweet sound. The Viggen was no longer a normal SAAB .
My way home was a blast the drive in the Viggen went flawless. I owned g35’s gave corvets a run 4 there money. Killed any civic I saw with a nice big air foil and some sticker they think adds 30hp. The car was totally different!!! Cant wait until I can save up some cash to visit Jak again!!! Its getting late and I'm tired to I will post more about my visit and some dyno results!!
If any one needs any kind of tuning or anything done to there Saab, and if they want it done right the first time gooo seee JJJJaaaakkkkkkk SSSStoooolllllll
p.s my trip home took me about 4.5 hrs ;)
