how to lower compression ratio...?

Hey all,
I got many good pointers from my last post about rebuilding the 2.1 liter engine. I want to apply a turbo once rebuilt, but really want to be able to blow something in the HOT range. How would I go about lowering my compression ratio? Is the bore different on the 2.0 versus the 2.1? Then I cant just use 2.0Turbo pistons.
Kind of unrelated Another approach to getting more power, I wanted to maybe stroke the engine? Is the architecture in the 2.1 the same as the 2.3? What I am getting at is, could I use a 2.3 crankshaft?
All this is kinda unfamiliar territory for me, are there any publications (doubt it) or websites (probably) that explain this internal engine stuff?
THanks a bunch!
Rob
