Thanks for the preview on your prospective setup Jak, sounds pretty nice!
I already have my materials though, an 18" x 10" x 2.5" front mount, and I have the aluminum mandrel bends. I am looking for pictures or descriptions of how people have run tube from the compressor on the turbo to the intercooler.
Vince Tong for example used a U-bend and went over the turbo, then back down to where the intercooler inlet is, while I know Dave Kennedy clocks the turbo to point down and forwards, which is more direct but requires modifying the wastegate actuator and/or how it mounts.
So I am asking:
For anyone who has done either method, what did you have to modify for the tube to clear, and how does your wastegate actuator attach now? I want to have a basic plan before I take the car apart!! (doesn't always happen that way though)
Thanks,
Drew
