Firstly, for a classic 1993 900T, what is the optimal fuel ratio, 11.5:1??? Is that number really debatable??? Or is it w/in .1 or .2 of each other? Anybody really know?
And secondly, should a fuel curve remain at its constant predetermined ratio (11.5:1, in this scenario) throughout the powerband? OR,,, does it (should it) fluctuate??? Like, for instance, start out at one ratio at idle and increase as rpm's increase (up to a point). And if you have a Turbo car, then it should increase even more, but faster??? Meaning... If 11.5:1 is appropriate, for instance, should it always be at 11.5:1, regardless of rpms or amount of boost (base boost all the way to 20psi boost)??? Please try and help me understand how "fuel curves work in simple terms? Do they remain static or do they change ratio depending on rpm's and amount of boost??? Sorry to ask such a silly question, but if I don't ask, I'll never know! Much thanks for your well thoughtout answers! Knowledge is golden.
