8v lpt advice (long)

I finaly have my 8v lpt running (I did the hole hog and changed the cilinder head as well) It has a very noisy exhaust due to the cracks in the manifold and a nasty tendancy to knock. I'm runnung primium fuel and have bent the stoper in the distibutor (hall effect, N/A distributor with a turbo retard unit) which has helped heaps. Eventuly I will add a intercooler and possibley water injection. I have also wired the cold start injector to a pressuer sensitive switch, so it turns on with boost to help fuel the mix a bit better. The knock has almost gone but not enough to make me comfortable. I was woundering is introducing a larger injector instead of the cold start injector might help, or wether I should bend the stop further (about 1mm at the moment). Any sugestions / advice, what sort of boost am I liley to be able to run? And finaly is there any adjustment possible on the fuel distributor? I find the odd vauge referance to this on the lists but no clear advice. Thanks, Ben.
