Just for the fun of it measure before and after performance.
It is fun when people state that the T7 is fully adaptive, Yes sure it is but the outcome may be worse that then starting point. How many of these guys (Dean) have actually tested that the stuff you write also works in real life?
Personally I would not add anything to a T7 with out testing it carefully beofere and after....If somebody likes I can post tons of data how things do not always go the desired way. Of course my examples are always "not valid" due to this and that, even though they seem to be about the only examples on this bord that you can normally read about ;)
Recently I installed a new turbo to my car (slitly bigger than the previous) with out SW support since I did not get all the HW at the same time (injectors and sucs), so I choose to run the car with a SW meant for the previous HW set-up since it had correct injector mapping for the injectors that where in the car. Directly after install performance to a huge bump up, but after adaption the performance got worse than a stage III viggen 100-150km/h 3rd = 4.8s when with the smaller turbo it did the same in 4.0s.
