1995 NG900 2.0Turbo Stage 4 nordic ECU, viggen turbo. I was pulling out of the parking lot today and I stepped on it in 1st gear...got to about 4k rpm then something went drastically wrong in the transmission. The transmission started grinding and is no longer driving the wheels. The clutch feels normal, and I can put the car into every gear with no trouble, but as soon as I let the clutch out I hear an awefull grinding noise in every gear and the car does not move. I am also dripping gear oil out of the transmission... I fear that the transmission is toast. The reason I am posting here is 1) To see if anyone know what went wrong, and 2) to see if anyone knows of any way to strengthen the transmission (or whatever is broken) so that this does not happen again. Also, any suggestions on an upgraded clutch while im in there?
