Thanks Jak,
It's been a few years since I've been on this site. The Saabs still cranking. I recently took her from Tahoe to the Gorge Windsurfing had a packed car with bikes, fly fishing camp gear and a Thule box. I was getting 28.5 MPG with all my gear :-)) I took the old Saab 170,000 mile now on EXTREMELY remote fire roads in Idaho and N Eastern Oregon. 10 hours on dirt roads doing 10-55 MPH :-)) I bent 2 rims but had a wonderful trip and caught some nice trout.
1) I have a set of NGK BCP7EV
2) What is the difference between the ES and EV?
3) The NGK site says I should use standard not Platinum plugs for hard driving? What's the deal? Also a gap of 26 is pretty tight this will allow high boost but worse idle MPG and low and mid range than say a gap of 28 or 30 correct?
Thanks for the help Dave. P.s I moved to Tahoe but still surf in Santa Cruz and you still in NC or VA?
Dave
