I have sasab.com's rear spring spacers in my 91se covertible. They are 1/2" each upto 1" total spacing. They work well.
I only use one on each side in back for 1/2" of lift. I put new springs and shocks in back at the same time. Car is perfectly level looking. 16" aero wheels still scrape, so I put 15" spg wheels back on and have no scraping.
I think if you want to run 16" aero wheels, it will have to be firm. Any softness and it will bounce and scrape, unless you jack it up like a redneck truck.
