Thank you. Really...thank you.
In your first post ever under this name, you have rightfully shamed me and swatted down any attempt of congratulating the person who tuned my car. It was a refresher course in the ways of this world.
By comparing A/F ratios against your own mighty beast, a fearsome '85 Volvo that I presume leaves Corvettes crying, you showed me the error of my ways in one masterful stroke. For that, sir, I'm eternally thankful.
Then, my teacher, you applied the coup de grace with a comparison with a "goldchain wearing Porsche owner," which, while not quite the graceful simile you intended, sliced through the gratitude I showed toward the person who carefully and skillfully tuned my car.
With those oh-so-clever words, you reminded me that any resistance to the ruling junta will be swiftly supressed, as only the anointed few can be praised here. I had forgotten the rules, yes, and was in need of a stern reminder. I will never utter the name of an unsanctioned tuner again, or face the consequences of your withering intellect.
I was unsure of the post title for a while but I figured this was yet another lesson from my new gracious teacher. I thank you for the opportunity to expand my knowledge of your language, and hope I can return the favor, although I'm not sure there's a direct translation for a colloquial multiple meanings of "tool."
I'm sure you can come up with an appropriate synonym.
Thanks again.
